Congratulations you have decided to make it on your own! The instructions are easy to follow - if you have any questions, do not hesitate to e-mail us for the answers at budget-bride@shaw.ca
You will need the following paper: 1 - 12" x 12" piece of card stock 1 - 12" x 12" piece of fancy accent paper 1 - 8 1/2" x 11" sheet vellum paper in corresponding color The top three can be purchased at any scrap booking store - or scrap book Internet site 1 - 8 1/2 " x 11" sheet of white paper (just the same paper you use in your printer)
You will also need a paper cutter or scissors (paper cutter is easier) Good pair of scissors Glue for paper Ruler Pencil Organza ribbon - or other embellishments
1. Measure and cut the card stock 8" long.
2. Cut a 8" x 3" piece out of the leftover card stock
3. Measure 4 1/2" from one side of the paper and fold so the nice side of the paper is on the outside.
4. Measure 1 1/2" from the other side of the paper and fold so right side of the paper is out.
5. Glue the 8" x 3" piece of card stock to form a folder on the 4 1/2" side of the card
6. Cut a piece of the "fancy paper" 4 3/4" x 7 1/4" and glue into the center of the card.
7. Set the paper size on your computer to 5" x 8" and make your invitation. You can use whatever wording you like. Or you can use the template that was sent with your order. And print on the plain white paper.
8. Cut your invitation to 4 1/4" x 5 3/4". Center and glue on your fancy paper.
9. Cut your vellum paper 4" x 6 1/2" and center over your invitation and glue at the top only.
10. Punch 2 holds in the top of the card and embellish with small organza bow. Glue the center of the bow to ensure that it stays put!
11. Make your map, reply card, etc, and place in the folder on the side of the card. You can use the leftover piece of card stock and fancy paper to make your reply card.
12. Close your invitation and tie a bow around it.
