And place in a glass, vase, etc of warm water with floral food dissolved in
the water. Leave your gerbera daisies to suck up water for at least a
day. Preferably in a cooler location in your home.
After the flowers have spent several hours sucking up water the next step is to
cut the flower off the stem.
You can cut the flower off the stem with wire cutter, leave about 1 inch of the
stem attached to the flower.
